The stay and service is top notch, food is a cherry on top everything regarding service and location is excellent! But roads could have been better it has been a hurdle to reach the resort! Could fix it ASAP! Overall it's an 4.5/5 experience

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rain Country Resort in Lakkidi, and it was truly a rejuvenating experience. The staff at the resort surpassed expectations with their warm hospitality, making the stay incredibly enjoyable.Nestled amidst nature, the resort offers a peaceful retreat, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.The accommodations were comfortable, and the attention to cleanliness was commendable. Must say about the food, they were really tasty and we had varieties of food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner.Rain Country Resort in Lakkidi is more than just a place to stay; it's a haven for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and refreshing getaway. Thank you for the restaurant staffs, housekeeping and the reception people for making our stay so comfortable.

There is absolutely no road to this resort ,the room is just ok. food is average. But words and actions are different. I have stayed at several resorts, but this is where I experienced such bad staff service. Very bad behavior and terrible pricing food and beverage . At this rate you can get a luxury resort in Wayanad. If possible, you would do well to record all the booking information.

Awesome place to stay, natural swimming pool, food is awesome, they served traditional food. Mr Praveen was exceptional host made us feel at home.

Absolutely loved the stay here. It is a serene resort away from traffic and pollution, located literally in the middle of the forest. Totally recommended if you are looking for a resort to just relax and eat good food. What i liked? 1. There is a huge natural pool inside the resort with clear water and is perfect for swimming. 2. The cottages as such were excellent and felt as if you were inside a 19th century Kerala palace. 3. The food there is absolutely stunning. Being a malayali, I totally vouch for the food here. We were totally overwhelmed with the number of items they were serving. Recommendations: Ela Ada with a special sauce, Meen cocunut milk curry. 4. The employees there are super friendly. Caution: 1. If you hike to the viewpoint inside the resort, be aware that there could be leeches. 2. The road to the resort is 4 kms of off roading. This is again subjective because some people may like the experience. I personally did not enjoy it the 3rd time. Tl;dr Totally recommended if you would want to have a getaway to enjoy the true beauty and sounds of nature, and have some true kerala cuisine.

Easier . Safer to reach moon. You may hv read in other reviews that last 4-5 km is off road. It’s understatement. Road is not present. No side road rail. And your car will definitely get damaged. If there is any emergency you need at least …

It's a beautiful place to stay but reaching to this place would be an adventure drive as there is no road and a drive with in the forest area The service and the food is pathetic and especially this place is not meant for the people who looks for good food.

Very poor service. Food is okay, not great. Rooms are substandard. The price is too high for the services and facilities they provide. You can find much greater properties for lesser prices in wayanad.
